I’m a laid back adventurer who loves hunting waterfalls, jumping from sea cliffs, and hiking through towering bamboo. Maui is incredible and the beautiful thing about being a photographer here is documenting other peoples’ wonder and amazement when they visit. When you add this bewilderment on top of the sensations people have when they get married here—it is a pure magic. I’m all about capturing those real, authentic moments when these things come together.
The experience of working with me is always best when we establish a connection. The more comfortable you are, the better the images turn out. We’ll definitely be a match if you’re adventurous and like trying new things. If you enjoy a dry sense of humor, that’s right up my alley. You like movies of all kinds: dramas, thrillers, documentaries and irreverent comedies. You don’t need an affinity for craft beer, but if you do—we’re already friends. You realize life’s not about keeping up with the Joneses but forging your own unique path. You’re more into candid photos of genuine moments than the super posed stuff. You know that a simple life can be a fulfilling life.
After a serendipitous turn of events in 2011 I found myself living on Maui, sight unseen. Yep, I’d never been to Hawaii, then suddenly I was jetting across the Pacific to live there. Like most people that come to Maui I was awestruck! You quickly run out of superlatives trying to describe this island. And not just because we’ve got gorgeous beaches. Sure we do, but Maui is so much more diverse than that: mountains, meadows, lava cliffs, jungles, waterfalls, bamboo forests. and of course black, red, and white sand beaches. Maui is breathtaking everywhere you look.
